Paper Mario Stage Revealed For Super Smash Bros.

Paper Mario Smash Bros

Super Smash Bros. producer, Masahiro Sakurai, has posted two new 3DS Super Smash Bros. screenshots via Nintendo’s Miiverse. The handheld version of Super Smash Bros. will feature a level based on the well-received Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, arguably the most popular title from the Paper Mario series.

Since the level is made from paper it can very easily be torn or blown away which hints that the 3DS microphone will play a part in this specific level.

“Pic of the day. For the first time ever in the Super Smash Bros. series, here’s a Paper Mario stage! It’s made of paper, so strong winds will blow it away.”

“Since the stage is paper, it transforms when it folds over and opens up again. This ship is the S.S. Flavion from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.”

The 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. is set to release locally on the October 3rd 2014.
