StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void trailer and multiplayer changes revealed

The end of the trilogy is coming. StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void’s cinematic trailer was shown off at BlizzCon, as well as some information on how the protoss are going to try take on an ancient evil.

Artanis, aboard a mighty arkship called the Spear of Adun, will attempt to lead his people against the threat of Amon. The team mentioned several times to “expect conclusions” to the questions and storylines so many players have.

If you are interested in the new units each side will get, as well as the changes to existing units that are being used in this pre-alpha stage, watch these three videos for more details. Things not mentioned in these trailers include smaller mineral and vespene geyser per node, an increase in starting workers in a game and several options for harassment and higher micro for all races, which makes for more exciting matches and less ‘passive’ times in the game.

You can see more details about the game, as well as sign up for the beta, here.
