Mattel are famed for their iconic Hot Wheels car range. It only seems prudent that as a 30th anniversary celebration of the Mario franchise that Nintendo team up with the toy manufacturer to produce six Super Mario-themed Hot Wheels cars.
This time around, unlike Mario Kart 8, there isn’t a Mercedes in sight. Instead the following will be released:
8 Crate Delivery (Dr. Mario)
A-OK (Mario Kart)
Cool-One (Super Mario Bros. 2)
Dairy Delivery (Super Mario Bros.)
School Busted (Super Mario 3)
Volkswagen T1 Panel Bus (Super Mario World)
Each car has one of six different Mario classics: Dr. Mario, Super Mario Kart, Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, and Super Mario World. The toys are set to hit shelves in October however there has been no word on a local release. Keep an eye out and let us know!
