Halo 5: Guardians released to some impressive reviews, not least our own (here). It’s a game full of character and of course brings back that wonderful Halo multiplayer action we have come to know and love (despite certain fractions hating it without Bungie, haters gonna hate and all that).
What’s even better is that 343 Industries is committed to releasing new content for the game over time for free. This week they are releasing a new mode and new maps for online multiplayer in the form of the always awesome Big Team Battle. The mode will release with 4 maps and will make those missing the mode very happy to see it finally joining the roster.
The maps are called Deadlock, Basin, Guillotine and Recurve. All of which have some kind of throwback to the classic maps from previous Halo games. Hard to complain about more content and Big Team Battle is always a winner, hopefully the maps are well designed too, but they usually are.
Let us know if you will be playing some Big Team Battle when it releases later this week!
