Earlier this week there were rumours suggesting that Konami would be launching a Free-to-Play version of PES 2016 via a leak on the Australian Classification Board. Konami has now come out and confirmed that it’s true. The Free-To-Play Edition will launch on both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 and, according to Konami, it’s an ‘entry level’ game.
The game, that’ll be available from 8 December, will include Exhibition Mode, a full training section and unlimited access to PES’ My Club. This version wil also have only 7 teams to select from – including Bayern Munich, Juventus, AS Roma, Brazil and France. This light version will also be compatible with future gameplay and content updates.
There are many people still skeptical about the return of the once beloved football franchise, so this might just need to push you need to finally try it out on a more permanent basis. Saying that – there’s not much difference between what they’re announcing here and a demo of old.
