I love Gamescom. Not because I have ever attended the show but because I know that it signifies around a month before my prized football games release. PES, being one of those, is in full motion in terms of handing out details around the upcoming game and everything is looking more and more promising.
We found out the other day that Liverpool will be licensed, and yesterday we were told that Borussia Dortmund will also be fully licensed. Now, we have full details in terms of the demo which is confirmed to be coming through on 24 August. That’s next Wednesday for those that are too lazy to work it out, and it’s not long to wait at all.
The demo, which is usually a great representation of the final game (but not the actual final build), will have 9 teams to choose from which is pretty cool. These include Spanish giants Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, Premier League also-rans Arsenal (sorry Arsenal fans, I couldn’t resist), South American teams Boca Juniors, River Plate, Corinthians and Flamengo, as well as the national teams of France and Germany. That’s some great variety in terms of playing styles!
There will also be two stadiums including Barcelona’s Nou Camp and one of the generic stadiums created for the game called the Neue Sonne Arena.
PES 2017 releases on September 13th for PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One and you can watch the gameplay footage below to get you ready for the demo (and final game):
