Sony leaks Dark Souls III DLC announcement a day early
It seems Sony should have someone take a look at that roof of theirs, because everything’s leaking at the moment. The latest being the name and release date of Dark Souls III’s first DLC.
They revealed via Twitter yesterday that the DLC will be called Ashes of Ariandel, and that it will be available on 25 October. This is a day before Bandai Namco intended to make the reveal, and the tweet has since been removed. But as we know, the internet never forgets:
We still don’t know much about the DLC, but rumour has it that it will be much more PVP focused instead of PVE like what we’re used to getting from From Software in the Souls games. There is another DLC expected, so it is possible that one is PVP-related, and the other will flesh out the story and lore more. For now, we can only speculate, but we should get all the details when the official announcement is made later today.
