Pokémon GO now officially supported in South Africa


For some Pokémon GO is a ‘been there, done that’ scenario, but there are some people who have been waiting for the worldwide hit to officially be supported in South Africa before taking the plunge. The day has now finally arrived as Pokémon GO is now officially available in South Africa.

You’ll be able to download the app and get a taste of what everyone in the world (and those who made other plans locally) have been going on about for a while. This news was confirmed via the official Pokémon GO web site.
