Welcome back to another edition of Voice Actor Tuesday. This week we’re going to look at the actor/voice actor David Hoffman and his contributions to the word of video games. Before that, though, let’s take a quick glance at his previous work. According to IMDB, he has been acting since 2000, appearing in a variety of shorts between 2003 and 2007. From about 2010 onwards, he started making guest appearances in television series such as The Young and the Restless, New Girl, Franklin & Bash, Quick Draw and 2 Broke Girls.
It’s his contribution to video games, I think, that include some of his greatest work. His two main roles in video games include Central Officer Bradford in XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Johnny Powell in The Darkness II. He also provides voices for minor characters and additional characters in other games, like Rise of the Tomb Raider, Mafia III, and Spec Ops: The Line.
I certainly hope he gets to voice more main characters more often as I think he did a great job voicing Central Officer Bradford in XCOM. Keep up the good work, David Hoffan.
