This morning Hideo Kojima walked out on stage and was honoured by receiving an Industry Icon Award at The Game Awards 2016. Before he walked off the stage he managed to string together a few words in English to tell everyone that he had a surprise in store for the audience – a new Death Stranding trailer.
In you’ll see a character that looks very much like Guillermo Del Toro holding an item with a… we think it’s best you watch the trailer for that bit. It also stars Mads Mikkelsen, who some of you might know from Casino Royale or the very popular Hannibal series, as the villain. Everything looks exceptionally creepy and as Kojima fans might expect there will be a super natural element in this creepy and weird fantasy world of his that has a military undertone.
