Breath of the Wild possibly delayed for Switch’s launch in Europe
Compliments of the season to all SA Gamer readers, old and new. Hope you’re ready to Switch (pun intended) into gear for a year filled with video gaming greatness! Let’s kick off things with news on the much anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Towards the end of 2016 fans received news and rumors about the game not being ready to release alongside the Nintendo Switch. Since then however things have changed a bit. Sources have informed Eurogamer that Japan as well as North America should be receiving Breath of the Wild at launch. It’s however a different story for Europe. According to sources it’ll be delayed due to the localisation in the many different languages that the game needs within the region. This is not official, but there is still hope that we might receive the game in March 2017 along with the Switch and a patch in months to come updating the game with the necessary data and files. Let’s hope that Nintendo reveals more on Breath of the Wild this week in their Switch reveal event on the 13 January 2017.
