First impressions are very important in life and a game visuals are usually the very first thing you notice when looking at a new title. We have come a long way since the blurry textures and poor animations of yesteryear and now we have reached a point where games can often be compared to art. So the question is, which game in 2016 broke new grounds visually and left our jaws in our laps? There were many great-looking games in 2016 but the one that really stood out was…
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
This year was a tough one in terms of picking the best-looking title because there were a few that really broke new ground visually. However, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End did things visually that we have never seen before in games. The game has arguably the best character models and facial animations we have seen to date. The world is so richly detailed that it’s hard to just walk by one of its many beautiful vistas or fascinating ruins without activating the photo mode. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End made you feel like you were truly thrust into Drake’s world and created a level of immersion we didn’t see in other games last year, and that is why we have to tip our hat to Mr. Nathan Drake and give Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End the award for best graphics in 2016.
