2016 Game of the Year as voted by you, the reader

best-readers-choice

Hey, we’re just human beings, and though we will have debates that can get out of control behind the scenes we can’t always please everyone. Some will agree with our winners, and others won’t. That’s why in December we provided you with a chance to vote for your 2016 Game of the Year. After 658 votes it came down to one vote to split the winner from the runner-up. It was exceptionally close and we quite honestly never expected that, but the winner according to you is:

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

Naughty Dog brought Nate’s adventures to an end with the release of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and it seems everyone loved the conclusion to the series. It was a story well told and had all the action set scenes of a Hollywood blockbuster as only Naughty Dog could create. It showed off the graphical abilities of the PS4 (even the standard one) and ended up being that one game that’ll remain in the minds of many for years. This, SA Gamer reader, is your Game of the Year in 2016. The runner-up below lost by one single vote! It’s as close as it’s ever been.

Runner-up: Battlefield 1
