Burning question: Is there a single element of games that you regard above others?

If you are here reading this, it isn’t that hard to assume that you really enjoy gaming. You probably love it and you try to squeeze in time for games as often as you can. We all love gaming here, but we all seem to hold a facet in slightly higher regard than the others. Something about gaming that makes us enjoy the experience more, or something that if it shines bright enough, we are willing to forgive other shortcomings of a game and press on.

Is it the story of a game that gets your mind racing and makes you press onward? Do you play games for graphics above all things? Perhaps you need a rousing soundtrack playing or the weapons making realistic noises. Is it the gameplay that keeps you glued to a game that has a pitiful story or even no story at all, as you spend hours upon hours working as a team to beat another group of humans as convincingly as possible? Or maybe the voice acting keeps you playing for hours and hours, hanging on every word like a candied fruit?

Sometimes called the Dream Breaker, Valshen is often spotted playing anything with the letters RPG somewhere in the title or genre. Or apologising for things that his beard did.
