Rumour: Hearthstone’s next adventure could take players to the Un’Goro Crater

It’s been about two months since The Mean Streets of Gadgetzan came out and now that Reno Jackson and some pirates have firmly rooted themselves on the ranked ladder, things are starting to get a little stale. While Ben Brode has stated that balance, changes will come later in the month and I don’t expect it to make as big a wave as one would hope. On the other hand, however, we are due a new adventure that will usher in the new year of standard.

Since we’re waiting on the official details of the next Hearthstone Adventure we’ll have to jump on every possible rumour to keep ourselves interested. This rumour stems from a Hearthstone voice actress’s CV which lists Hearthstone: The Lost Adventures of Un’Goro as some of her previous work.

For those of you who don’t know, the Un’Goro Crater is in the southern part of Kalimdor and has a very “Land of the Lost” feel to it (as well as quite a few Nintendo references). This means that we could see a similar experience to that of League of Explorers in the next adventure, which isn’t too bad considering League of Explorers will rotate out of standard with the release of the next expansions.

Even though this doesn’t confirm what’s next for Hearthstone, this leak feels quite plausible considering the voice actress in question has done a lot of work on the game. Only time will tell what the next adventure is but, hopefully, the development team will take lessons learned from the last expansion before they release some cards they may regret later along the line.
