New Heroes have come to Fire Emblem Heroes
Since its launch almost two weeks ago Fire Emblem Heroes has had quite a number of updates. Special events are retracted and added to the game hourly, daily and some even last the month. These special events (special maps) are completely separated from the main story and enable players to gain not only more orbs but in some cases a featured character from the Fire Emblem series. Today’s featured character, for instance, is the Elite Archer Virion from Fire Emblem Awakening. Apart from these special events, the game hosts the summoning system that we’re all familiar with by now – if you’ve been playing the game. A ‘gotcha’ mechanic that allows the player to summon random heroes from across the Fire Emblem franchise. The catch of course is that you won’t know what character will be summoned until after the summoning. And if that’s not enough the game hosts an array of well over 100 characters with players today receiving even more with the latest update ‘Family Bonds Summoning Event’.
As of today the 15th of February Ephraim and Eirika, from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, as well as Seliph and Julia, from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, will be available. And if you’re lucky enough you might be able to summon them as 5-star heroes (5-star being the highest ranked heroes in the game).
Included in the update for a limited time is also the Paralogue Maps: Family Bonds, found just under the main story maps in the game. This includes three paralogue stories namely Sacred Bond, Holy War’s Bond and Unbreakable Bond. Also, don’t forget that each of these quests can be played on Normal, Hard and Lunatic levels.
So what are you waiting for? If you’ve not already jumped in make sure to do so now!
