Free Games Vrydag Winner Receives The Highest Honor

Vrydag is here, you beautiful humanoids! This week has been relatively quiet except for good ol’ Valentine’s Day that happened on Tuesday. I hope you got some games/chocolates/socks/”special favours” and if you’re a loner like me, hopefully your pillow was especially comfortable to cry into. The gaming world was immensely quiet this week and the fellows in the SA Gamer office, which is located at the top of a volcano, joked a lot about slow news days. However, us South Africans got something to celebrate today in the form of Battlefield 1 finally getting some local servers and it seems a massive amount of you are super stoked about it. I know I am, blaming lag can only get you so far.

We, of course, had some reviews this week for your perusal. David shot some Nazis through the heart in Sniper Elite 4, I suffered a little in the remarkably boring Tank Troopers and Zain had a blast to the past with Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3. Our Burning Question for this week asked which games should return to the drawing board and as a fitting end to a bit of shorter recap, I looked at 5 games that were short but sweet.

Now, it’s time to award someone with the highest honor. They will be going into battle and will spill blood in the name of glorious bloody combat. The winner of our awesome For Honor bundle is none other than:

Richard Martin

Congratulations Richard on winning this fantastic prize! We’ll be in touch with you soon to get all your details so that you can go chop some heads off as quickly as possible.

Thanks to Megarom for sponsoring this week’s prize!

And that’s it for this week of love, everyone! Thanks for sticking around and thank you sincerely for all of the support you have given us. We won’t be doing this if it wasn’t for you and know that you are appreciated. It’s only fitting that I get soppy during a week where everything had hearts on it and some people are edging closer to diabetes because of sweetness. Keep talking with us in the comments, on social media and on the colourful forums! We enjoy hearing from you and talking about the things we love with each other.

Free Games Vrydag is back next week! Next Vrydag seems like so far away right now, but it’s much nierer than you think.
