Mass Effect Andromeda is a little more than a week away, and the marketing from Electronic Arts and Bioware has ramped up considerably over the last month or so. So much so that we got the launch trailer for the game more than a week before its release.
The trailer sets up the premise of the game, as the humans arrive in Andromeda and realise that things are going to be bit tougher than expected with none of the golden worlds really being what they thought they might be. The creators of the trailer also opted for a song by Rag’n’Bone Man called ‘Human’:
It’s a decent trailer, and the music kinda works. It’s not nearly as epic as the launch trailer for Mass Effect 2, but that one did have the help from music by Two Steps from Hell.
While I know that there’s some concerns and issues regarding gameplay elements or some feeling the female characters are intentionally made ugly (yeah, that’s a thing), I really am excited for the game and cannot wait.
Mass Effect Andromeda releases locally on 24 March on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
