Project CARS had somewhat of a mixed reception. Some loved the hardcore simulation roots, while other people believe that it felt a bit bare. It came with a huge number of tracks, but not many cars to choose from. Something else that’s been missing in this generation is a simulation racer that includes both on- and off-road racing, and Project CARS 2 might be the first simulation racer to do so.
Slighty Mad Studios have released the below video detailing just what you can expect in their new Rallycross discipline. You’ll get to drive the Honda Civic Coupe, Volkswagen Polo RX, Ford Focus RS RX, Mini Countryman RX, Ford Escort RS 1600 and OMSE Supercar Lites like a crazy madman. Don’t expect the number of cars to be huge for the Rallycross events, as it’s something new and it takes time to create these beautiful cars, but so far we know that the overall number of cars will be increased quite a bit.
