Today's high and lows

What did you decide on?

Mokka!

After the longest week, I finally got that solitary Fly that refused to leave what passes for my office at the back of the shop. Threw a colour chart at it and I got it!!
WIN!!!!

Check the size of those woofers :D

13.8″ 😁

G3 right?

Gonna be awesome.

Yip! It arrived while I was at the gym. My wife says they dropped it on the way up the stairs, but just a small drop, I'm sure it's fine. Will check it before installing anyway.

Now to shower and then get cracking!

High: just watched Starship test flight 3 and it was/is a massive success. Not over yet, Starship cruising in space on its way to Perth, should set down in the Indian Ocean.

Amazing!

High: Prepping for the new TV arriving today!

Low: Waiting close to three months since placing the order.
Lucky man, show us when it's all set up

Was supposed to buy an 82" last weekend but the guy I was buying from dropped the tv so not sure what I'm gonna do still. I say this coz I know the excitement for a new tv

Happy gaming and watching

Getting the stand plumb once the TV was mounted on it was a pain in the backside, got it done just before going to bed:

That sucks, must have been very disappointing.

High: My solar loan application is complete and if all goes well with the hardware purchase logistics, the installer will start this coming Tuesday.
Higher: During the solar loan application, FNB decided to offer me a 0.25% decrease in my interest rate for my bond.

High/Low: The original quote for my new home loan monthly payment (including my solar loan) showed a figure that would have seen me not paying for my solar at all due to the decrease in my interest rate. In fact, the monthly payment in the quote from FNB showed an R800 saving per month on the current loan repayment (before the solar loan). A week or so later, I received more communication from FNB with a document showing my new home loan repayment and this time, it showed a ~R445 increase on my current repayment. I will question them on why the quote figure is different to the actual repayment amount, but all said and done, I was expecting to pay almost 5 times as much per month once the solar loan was added to my bond. My monthly electricity usage cost saving will definitely be more than the extra monies I need to pay on my monthly bond repayment.

High: Haggled BT Fibre down on my monthly fibre premium.

Higher: BT Fibre is now part of EE Mobile which I am already a subscriber of. Due to this, I get unlimited data on my phone package now as well as a 30% discount on my premiums. SCORE!

Low: Still at work
High: Cleaning up my 'personal' folders and found my og forum pic! (I can't remember which forumite did it for me back in the day)
