Just a heads up guys, this isnt the ISPs themselves in the Durban area, seems to be Telkom related.
I've tested with the following ISP accounts:
Openserve guest acc.
All had the same issue. My router and Axxess CP (line hosted with them) report that I'm syncing at 4096kb down, 320kb up and there is no issues on the line according to the line test feature, yet I can only get about 43kb down and 25kb up. The tech I tested with confirmed as well.
Spend over an hour of the phone with the guys at Axxess testing only for them to notify me of the issues :/
So yeah, hold on tight peeps... No idea when this will be sorted out.
