Default Why are there no local BF1 PC servers?

    Hey forum.

    Newbie here.

Just got BF1 for xmas but there are no local servers and I'm not sure how a 500ping affects my gameplay...

Are there any? And what's an ideal ping before you get killed for having a bad connection?

If you get 500ms to international servers you will get 200-300ms to local servers. For the past few years adsl/fiber latencies has been around 300ms for the US and 200ms for the EU. All the servers I've played BF1 on were stable.

I managed to find one that was 180ms after arranging ping servers from fast too slow.

    Is 180 decent?

180 is good for an International server. With a local server it should be around 50ms on average.

I get average 250ms to EU and 350ms, but unstable to NA with my Telkom LTE. NA server is rendered unplayable for me.
