Way too much hype on them. Woolies are good though, can't go wrong there.

I pointed and laughed at the price list when I saw it.

Baskin Robbins is amazing and well worth the price, I will buy that any day.

On topic... Screw DD. Mate bought, had 2... Glad I never spent my own money on buying them. Rubbish. Give me Checkers doughnuts any day over that tomfoolery of a doughnut.

Wicked Donuts, is my go to place for my monthly donut fix. Have yet to try KK or DD, but Wicked has yet to disappoint. Also pricey, but mainly for the donuts with filling.

Capetonians, have you eaten at My Sugar - http://www.eatout.co.za/article/impo...led-doughnuts/

I found everything too sweet but some people might like it.

    Also R35 for a donut.

Cassis in Gardens. They have some nice cakes and stuff. Their bread is also decent. When it comes to delicious bread, Knead in Wembley Square also has delicious "muesli bread" - rye/wheat with pecan nuts and raisins. It's also a popular sort of bread in East Asia.

    Dunkin Donuts is rubbish, IMO.

Definitely overpriced for what you get. As with many things in life, paying for the name more than anything.
