    Default Bit of advice needed

PS4pr/XBox one s is easy they have auto option and switch between rgb, etc on the fly, but the nvidia shield (my primary media device) have a host of things to pick from and no auto function.

The highest quality will be the Ycbcr 4:2:2 12 bit rec2020, but what you have it on currently should be fine for 98% of your material.

Maybe play with those 2 and see if you notice any difference.

Ja, Vast_aire is right, 4:2:2 12 bit Rec. 2020 is the preferred option. However, some TVs aren't very good at handling 12 bit signals which can lead to banding, so if you find you're having issues you should switch to 4:2:0 10 bit Rec. 2020 (strange their isn't a 4:2:2 10 bit option though). Also be sure to enable auto-refresh rate switching.
