    Hi all,

This is a urgent post on behalf of my colleague here at work.

We had 2 dogs stroll into the EMS base a few months ago, clearly abused, neglected etc - the owner apparently treated them bad and then just up and moved and left them behind, they managed to escape.

The lady in the EMS workshop took them in and has been looking after them since - they really are 2 lovely dogs and must stay together because every time 1 of them manages to escape - the one comes back for the other.

We have till the 15th or they have to be removed from our workshop - the lady who has been looking after them is so scared they'll go from a LARGE cage to a tiny cage and then ultimately just be euthanized - we both really don't want that to happen, we want to find them a home together.

Please, if anyone has space and can take the 2, let me know ASAP, we basically have 4 days left.

I've spoken to the lady (Charmaine) and if needed, she will gladly pay to have the 2 dogs fixed, but she can only do 1 at a time (per month)

I'm also hoping that maybe you guys can share this thread with people whom you know would love to take these 2 dogs in.

I've attached the best pictures of them I have.

Good luck man. Those are beautiful dogs. The one looks very similar to mine. Husky cross sausage dog. Except mine has one blue eye. Very awesome dog to have with the best attitude. If I was able I would of taken them.
Good luck hope you find them homes.

Thanks guys! Please share far and wide if you don't mind. I know the reality - there are so many dogs out there looking for loving homes, but I am hoping that these 2 find it - all animals deserve it.

If only I lived on a farm or massive plot.

I really despise people who abandon animals like this.
Why do you get animals if you do not intend to love them? It is a serious commitment not a video game.

We love animals and sadly where we stay we are not allowed to have animals (a real problem in Gauteng Estates/Complexes) but we are saving for a house now so we can have animals and will take in from a No-kill shelter.

As it is we go to No-kill Shelters to walk dogs there, the dogs really love just to get that human interaction and have a walk.
Also spend time feeding horses apples (horses love apples!) and playing with cats.
It is really sad to see the abused and abandoned animals at these shelters but really satisfying to help them.

I will let people I know in Cape Town know about this as well. The dogs are beautiful. HTF can you just abandon them!!
To us animals are like your children. If you don't want that level of commitment get a spider.
IF YOU WANT TO BE SOMEONE ELSE, CHANGE YOUR MIND.
