Woot! Finally got my hands on a decent media recorder. I records up to 1080i, but I think I'm gonna stick to 720p cos YouTube doesn't support 1080i. The following recording can be played at 1080p, but it's technically only 1080i and the quality doesn't merit recording at this setting IMO.

Did you get the GameCapture HD?
Yep. Can't get it to work with my old seagate drive though. Hopefully it's the drive and not the box. I'm recording to an 8GB Flash drive in the meantime.
The price went up by R24 since I bought mine lol.

I recorded these matches in real time while I played online. I couldn't really detect any lag beyond what I'm used to on XBL.
Still working on quality settings. I'm deciding between Windows Live Movie Maker (easier) and Sony Vegas (more flexible). Both generate huge files though, but at least I can reencode if I use Sony Vegas, and maybe I can tweak the output.
This one was recorded at 720p and edited in Vegas:

I'll post the rest of the replays later when I get time to edit and upload them.

First vid was a raw 1.4GB wmv upload, second vid was reencoded and edited in VirtualDub. It shrunk the file size down to 325MB

@skamanke Some quick pointers for Dudley:
- Stop running away with Dudley, he is really not effective at the range you are trying to use him
- Try and approach your opponent without jumping. Dudley's jump ins can be very effective but only if they can be unpredictable. Use f.mk, random FAs or lk dashes, random mgbs on the ground and once you close the space refer to point 1 and use you normals to apply pressure (f.mk, st.mk, interrupted chain combos)
- If you are afraid to stay in their face on wake up, stop them from trying to throw you with cr.lp combos on wake up or meaty f.mk, once they stop trying to throw you they'll start to dp. Then you can block and punish or bait it with cross counter
- About punishes, avoid throwing opponents as punish as it is not rewarding in terms of damage and sends them farther from you (except in corner). A combo off st.hk does a lot more damage, stun and puts you in a good position to continue applying pressure. Also avoid starting to punish by using lp lp hk, you end with less damage due to scaling and you might even miss the combo unnecessarily. You should just use hk xxx mgb or dp and maybe f.mk xx hk xx mgb.
- When you manage land a blocked jump in hk, dont follow up with a throw or a back dash. Instead apply a bit of pressure with your normals. If they like to dp as soon as you land the jump in, just wait a split second before following up with the pressure. That way if they dp you block it, if not you can follow up. I'm saying this once again coz when your throws are teched, a gap is created between you and your opponent and you dont want that with dudley.
- Lastly only use the ultra on their wake up after getting them used to the pressure you'd have applied to them. Because then they will be less likely to just block on wake up and anything they throw at you (crouch tech, throw tech, dp, backdash) will be likely to be caught by the ultra.
I hope this makes senses lol. Didn't edit or anything, just threw whatever I could pick up from the matches![]()
