Just hit the Undead Burg. Hint says "weapon ahead" and mini guide shows a "Light Crossbow" in a room just to the left of first conflict. I guess its above me, coz nothing in the immediate room where the map indicates weapon should be.

So, Undead Burg, Light Crossbow, wherefore are thou ?

beware an idiots hiding behind a box.

then in the open kill those 5 idiots, then go up the ladder.

you will come to a shortcut, try and roll from the roof onto the other ledge thingie, and the bow shud be there.

New Londo Ruins. Cursed. Trying to get to the cursebreaker guy.

First building isn't a problem. I've figured out how to lure the ghosts out so I can fight them on better footing.

But then the second building... Has anyone found an effective way of getting past the cheating wallhackers? I'm trying to lure them out two or three at a time by running into the building and then retreating to the bridge. But they only come out a short distance and tend to turn around before I can lure them to a spot where I have an advantage. And those three that come from the watery area are just asses. They tend to go far away so I can't hit them with ranged weapons. If I go into the building, they start coming up. But if I exit again, then they just turn around if they're not close enough to hit me. And that's before I even get to the room with the screamer where you suddenly get swarmed from the floor, the ceiling and everywhere.

My plan is to return there at a higher level with a quick weapon with a nice arc sideways swing. Iaido's R2 attack might do the trick, but first gonna lightning imbue it for the extra damage

As mentioned earlier, if killing a screamer makes the other ghosts go away then that area would be manageable. If not, then it's just cheap and stupid and wallhackers must die. Cheating asses.

I used a Pike staff (+10) with the R2 Spinning attack ...Most die with the 1st hit ...but I believe if u ascend your weapon from +5 to a divine weapon ...then the undead will die pretty fast ...
