To date the amiibo integration has been lacklustre, to be quite honest. Owning the amiibo figurines alone feels like something worth buying though, so it’s never been a big issue when the amiibo integration in games were generally poorly executed. Yoshi’s Woolly World, which launches on 26 June, will have integration with Mario, Donkey Kong and Link amiibos, and it’s simply irresistible. All-in-all over 40 amiibos are supported.
