E3 2015 – Ubisoft Showcase

E3 2015 Ubisoft

Oooooh, the Ubisoft showcase starts off on a strange note, with profanities being thrown around left, right and center by the host Aisha Tyler. (Kyle: I must admit that I do love Aisha Tyler and I’m glad she’s back this year.)

Southpark: The Fractured But Whole

Matt Stone, Trey Parker and Aisha Tyler start the presentation with a whole lot of unnecessary f-bombs but isn’t that what South Park is all about? Players will again assume the role of the “New Kid” and join Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman in a new RPG adventure.

For Honor

Ubisoft Montreal studio announce the new IP For Honor. Yes Ubisoft have a new IP… difficult to believe right? Enter the chaos of battleground warfare as a knight, viking or samurai to take part in this team play/ melee combat title. It looks amazing and stylish to boot.

The Crew: Wild Run

The Crew: Wild Run is the, not so highly awaited, expansion for the action-driving game The Crew. Featuring more cars, more bikes and monster trucks. The expansion is available on October 17th 2015 on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

Trials Fusion: Awesome Level MAX

This Trials Fusion DLC pack contains 30 all-new tracks plus 10 Super-cross tracks along with 30 challenges, five new garage items and more than 130 fresh new Editor objects and don’t forget the fire-breathing unicorn bike & cat rider!

The Awesome Level Max DLC and The Awesome Max Edition will release on the PS4, Xbox One and PC on July 14th 2015.

Seriously, check out this video.

Tom Clancy’s The Division

We are once again treated to more of Tom Clancy’s The Division. While the game looks very impressive, the terrible co-op script isn’t. The tension and fear in the game is palpable, but it’s the threat of betrayal that stands out. Check out both videos below to find out more. You can also expect the game to be out on 8 March 2016.

…and a spectacular ‘Dark Zone’ multiplayer reveal…

Anno 2205

ANNO 2205 is Ubisoft’s city-builder and this time around the game takes place in space. Now we can finally build space stations on the freaking moon.

Just Dance 2016

The Just Dance 2016 part of the show was a little bit of a miss. The singer Jason Derulo performed one of his top hits for the audience, but he didn’t sound too great. His voice was too pitchy and nobody really knew who he was anyway. Next came the announcement that the current gen versions of the game will be able to stream new songs all year round. This streaming service, Just Dance Unlimited, is a subscription based service that allows people to get new songs whenever they want. Apparently it was in high demand…

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege

A new video for Rainbow Six Siege was presented, featuring Angela Bassett as ‘Six’, the new deputy director of the Rainbow CTU. This game just gets more impressive as the days go by. No gameplay in this video, but that doesn’t mean it’s not impressive. Also, the Beta for the game launches on 24 September 2015

Trackmania Turbo

Trackmania Turbo bets a sexy reveal trailer and will be available on November 26th 2015 for the first time on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This is one crazy, high-octane game! You won’t want to miss this.

Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate

Yet another outstanding Assassin’s Creed trailer from Ubisoft. This time around the game takes place in London and will feature Jacob Frye as the protagonist. The video didn’t include any gameplay, but the cinematics are great and you’ll have some more insight to the story.

…and finally…

Ghost Recon: Wildlands

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is an open-world, stealth-action game entirely playable in 4 player co-op or solo and will be available on PS4, Xbox ONE and PC. Time to beat up some drug lords!

That’s it for Ubisoft! What did you think?
