Voice Actor Tuesday: Ashly Burch

Over the December holidays, I got to play the episodic game Life is Strange. It’s a story driven game, and as such features tons of speech. It’s an amazing game, and I immediately started looking up all the voice actors. Ashly Burch plays one of the game’s main characters, and really brings a lot to the role – this role even won her a Golden Joystick Award for Performance of the Year. (Seriously, you need to play Life is Strange if you haven’t already.) You may also know Burch as Tiny Tina from Borderlands 2. She has also provided voices for Saints Row IV and Gat out of Hell, Team Fortress 2 and Fallout 4.

In addition to her voice work in video games, Burch has given voice to Sasha Braus in Attack on Titan, as well as numerous characters in Adventure Time. She’s also a write for Adventure Time. She also created, writes, produces and stars in the web series comedy about video games, Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin’?

First video game role: Miss Pauling, Team Fortress 2 (2007)

Major video game roles: Chloe Price, Life is Strange (2015), Cassie Cage, Mortal Kombat X (2015), Tiny Tina, Borderlands 2 (2012)

Gamer, geek, LEGO fanatic. I also love Pathfinder RPG, The Sims, cross stitching, crochet, and sci-fi and fantasy movies, games & books. And animals.
