April is turning out to be a real busy month for video games. We’re getting new game releases, DLC for other games and a couple of timed
demos Betas to try out. So it is only fitting that another one has been announced for this month, and that game is none other than Doom, which will have an open beta that will run from 15 to 17 April.
The Beta will include the same content that was available in the closed beta, which includes two modes, Team Death Match and Warpath. It will also be playable on the same two maps, Infernal and Heatwave.
Bethesda also revealed some of its plans regarding post game support, which is mostly related to DLC. It will be a mix of paid and free DLC. Some of the free stuff will include a creation mode which will allow players to create multiplayer content for others. You will however have to pony up if you’re interested in more maps, weapons and playable skins. There are three DLC packs available for $14.99, or you can get the season pass for $39.99.
The Beta will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
