Naughty Dog creative director and writer takes a jab at new Rise of the Tomb Raider box art

Yesterday afternoon Crystal Dynamics finally revealed their much anticipated plans for Rise of the Tomb Raider on the PS4 and along with it comes a whole bunch of extra goodies. Some of these features will be heading to the Xbox One, though the PlayStation VR bits could one day head to PC, but that’s up in the air for the time being. What we do know however is that Neil Druckmann, the creative director and writer behind the very successful Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, spoke his mind on Twitter last night.

Someone was of course quick to point out that Uncharted borrowed from Tomb Raider first:

It seems he’s not all that upset and only kidding around, but we’re sure that deep down inside the folks over at Naughty Dog can’t be too happy. We guess that when someone that copies your style you should see it as a form of flattery.

Married to a gamer and she kicks my ass at most shooters. If the game is enjoyable I'll play it, no matter the format.
