Some voice actors leave their mark by portraying dozens of characters, while some give life to a select, lucky, few. Kristoffer Tabori (also known as K. T. Donaldson) is one of the latter. Tabori acted in numerous films and TV series, particularly in the seventies and eighties, and has directed a large number of TV movies and TV series episodes in the last couple of decades, but in gaming he’s best known as the voice of HK-47 from Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic and its sequel.
For those not familiar with HK-47, he’s possibly the most memorable character from the Old Republic universe, an assassin droid with little concern for the lives of ‘meatbags’ (that’s us). I’ve included a compilation video below with some of HK-47’s best lines. Tabori also voiced several HK series droids in the Old Republic MMO.
A few of Tabori’s other game credits include the voice of Lord Regent Hiram Burrows in Dishonored, Grigori in Alpha Protocol, Vulture in Spider-man: Web of Shadows and Magus in the 2003 Battlestar Galactica video game. For me, however, he’ll always be the awesome HK-47.
