The next game in the Atelier series of JRPGs has a new trailer, this time showcasing the game’s PS Vita versions. Often when Japenese developers release a title on PS4 and PS Vita at the same time, all of the information is about the PS4 version, leaving some mystery around the Vita version.

Atelier Firis: Alchemist of the Mysterious Journey releases in November in Japan, with a western release some time next year. The Atelier series of games puts a big focus on alchemy, requiring players to gather items in the world to make concoctions to help get through the game’s turn-based combat. Firis is set a short while after the end of Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, if you are keen to start something now instead of waiting until next year.

This looks like a great fit for the Vita. Some collecting and brawls while on a long flight would definitely make time pass a bit faster.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
