Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 has been delayed until 25 April 2017 as announced by CI Games, due to feedback received during recent beta testing. Reason is that they feel that the additional delay will ultimately result in a more refined experience for players at launch.
It’s good to see that the development team acknowledge these issues and are making these tough decisions to ensure quality over a rushed piece of work that require endless updates after release.
This is what CEO of CI Games, Marek Tyminski, had to say about the announcement to delay the game:
[qoute]“We’ve worked tirelessly creating a whole new Sniper Ghost Warrior experience set in an ambitiously crafted open world new to the series,”. “While it’s an unfortunate decision to delay the game one last time, we believe these final changes will result in a better experience for players worldwide on day one. Thank you for your patience – we know the wait will be worth it.” [/quote]
Players will be able to explore large open-world maps with dynamic day and night cycle coupled with weather effects. This will impact the players’ decision making processes throughout the game, forcing you to rethink your plan of attack. You can also customise weapon equipment, accessories and vehicles as you wish. Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 will also receive the season pass treatment free for those who have preordered the game.
Here’s hoping that CI Games’ decision pays off in serving a well rounded finished product.
