New Zelda: Breath of the Wild update allows you to change the language settings

A new update for Zelda: Breath of the Wild will bring more language and audio options to the game. I’d normally stick with an English dub, but I know quite a few people who would prefer to hear Japanese voices with English subtitles.

If you’re in that boat, then you’re in luck. The update will support nine languages, so you can mix and match to your heart’s content. In order to get the language options for the Wii U version, you’ll need to download it from the eShop. Once all of it is downloaded you can change the language and select a subtitle.

Here’s a list of the available languages:

  •     Japanese
  •     English
  •     French (France)
  •     French (Canada)
  •     German
  •     Spanish (Spain)
  •     Spanish (Latin America)
  •     Italian
  •     Russian

Personally, I often listen to anime in Japanese with English subtitles. When it comes to games, however, I find a different language very distracting.
