Happy Vrydag everyone! We hope you had a wonderful long weekend filled with games, drinking, vacations and whatever type of debauchery you young people get up to these days. I was helping my brother move so there wasn’t a lot of relaxing going on, but a man can’t complain. We’re now in May and while the games have slowed down quite a bit, we’re still getting some exciting stuff. I think a lot of us are thankful for the wallet respite though.
Our new site is starting to feel like home and holy Gordon Freeman is it so fast and smooth. How did ya’ll deal with the old site? It’s like driving a Bugatti after driving a Datsun for years. We’re busy populating it with some fresh and wonderful content as well. For reviews this week, Dawid drifted on the Rainbow Road in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Daniel went through some freaky stuff in Little Nightmares and Garth did some violent micromanaging in Dawn of War III. The Burning Question this week asks if you play games on vacation, Charlie looked at five awesome games that don’t need a sequel and I was a little tired of open-world games.
And now, for the moment you’ve all been preying for. Who the winner of the much-anticipated Prey is this week. Well, that is none other than:
Congratulations to Damian on winning this wonderful prize. We’ll be in contact with you soon to get all your details. We promise not to accidentally send the 2006 version.
Thanks to Ster Kinekor for sponsoring this week’s prize!
It’s May and unfortunately, the Star Wars pun day is already over. I also bet a lot of you heard “I can’t believe it’s May already!” at every place where humans are. May feels like a month that we can use to relax and where things can get back into a steady rhythm. We’ve had the long weekends, the massive gaming train ploughed through everyone and everything was busy. Now it’s business as usual. Obviously, it would be wonderful if the 10/10 games didn’t stop, but we gotta be realistic here. Also, we are but fleshy mortals with limited time. Don’t forget to keep in contact with us in the comment sections, the forum and on social media. We’re always slinking about.
Free Games Vrydag returns next week! You may feel like you want to snipe the random number generator if you don’t win, but only warriors can have that type of ghostly aggression.
