Well would you look at that, it’s Vrydag and I’m ready to party! Actually, I’m ready to sit on my couch under a blanket, play games and accidentally forget to shower. We can always party next weekend. We’re now almost halfway through May (gulp) and as I predicted, it has been a quiet month. We had a few games, but nothing that would blow down the hatches and even internationally things have been relatively calm. I said relatively calm.
We had a few reviews this week starting with David looking for the pink mist in Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, Charlie breaking a few more controllers in Nioh: Dragon of the North, Dawid jumping over some stuff in the blast from the past, Excitebike, Kyle went on some dragon-y quests in Dragon Quest Heroes II and then finally, Ashwar was totally not a mimic in Prey. In Hidden Heroes this week, we looked at Akira Yamaoka, the composer for the Silent Hill franchise. The Burning Question for this week asked what makes a video game character great and Ashwar looked at 6 games that have never seen the light of day.
And now, for the main event. We don’t really have the budget for confetti so just imagine it for now. The winner of the Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 hamper is none other than the gorgeous:
Congratulations to Jared for winning this week’s wonderful prize! We’ll be in contact with you soon to get all your details from you. Have fun crawling around in a bush and paying careful attention to the wind.
Thanks to Apex Interactive for sponsoring this week’s prize!
And so another week has gone by. We’re nearing the halfway mark of 2017 and boy what an insane first half it was. Amazing games all over the place that you might just trip over one of them on your way to the bathroom. Do a solid for your boy Marko this weekend. Take a break, play some stuff, hang out with friends and family and just take it easy. It’s what I’m planning to do. Remember to also keep in contact with us on social media, the comments and on the forum, we’re an ever-present force.
Free Games Vrydag returns next week! Not signing up for it would be an injustice on so many levels.
