Happy Vrydag all you voluptuous and stunning people! We’ve made it through another week and it felt exceptionally fast to me as well. We’re all in our natural rhythms now without public holidays or massive game releases muddying the waters. Just good old life as we know it, ticking away. Still, the halfway point of 2017 is closing in fast. It won’t be long before your co-workers or acquaintances use the classic “it’s June already?! The year went so fast!” line because they’ve forgotten how time works.
We’ve been busy, as usual, providing ya’ll with some tasty words and pictures to help with boredom and/or work. For reviews this week, Zain got knocked out in Punch-Out!! for our Blast from the Past and he also played an old classic that was turned new in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, Charlie punched some robots in The Surge, Kyle rolled around in LocoRoco Remastered, Dawid was a kid again (which was a long time ago) in Forza Horizon 3’s Hot Wheels DLC and Garth got lost in space, forgetting about bed time while playing Endless Space 2. Daniel was so into Twin Peaks that he made a list of ten games that were inspired by it in not one but two parts. Our Burning Question for this week asked what was the first game you ever played.
Even in the slow months, we don’t stop for anything.
And now, for the lucky person who will have the pleasure of punching people in the face with a pimped out Batman. The winner of the brand new Injustice 2 is none other than:
Congratulations to Darryl for winning this time! We’ll be in contact with you soon to get all your details. Have fun in the Multiverse.
Thanks to Ster Kinekor for sponsoring this week’s prize!
There you have it folks, another week done and dusted. It has been quiet, it has been calm, but you never know when something will jump out and surprise us. Hopefully it isn’t a nuke though, that won’t be fun. Unless you’re a fan of Fallout, then it might be. Make sure to let us know you’re alive in the comments, on social media and on the forum. You’re kind of our lifeblood over here, you know.
Free Games Vrydag returns next week! If you thought it was an injustice that random.org didn’t pick your number this time, just stick around for next week.
