Bethesda just had its E3 press conference and for its third outing, the cracks are starting to show. The show was at an odd time, meaning most of us had 4 or less hours of sleep. The two big reveals for Bethesda were leaked before the show, so maybe that took the excitement out of it a bit. Pardon me if I keep this brief.
Two titles are getting the VR treatment. If you like VR and want a meaty game to play in it, rather than tech demos.
Any guess what the F stands for? We aren’t sure.
Fallout 4 VR
Build your house in VR! Pick up items and look at them with your own hands (Or HTC Vive wands). Get lost in Fallout 4 forever!
I am busy playing Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind right now and I can tell you, it feels so damn good to be back on the island. Prepare for a full report on how my Orc Warden (the new class in ESO with a beary good friend) later once I explore everything in the magical world. Expansions too!
The Creation Club
Specially made content that you buy, mods from developers and the best player made content. Paid for mods talk again? I thought we dropped this.
Elder Scrolls Legends
If you haven’t seen this CCG, you need to give it a go. Besides having a really cool singleplayer campaign, the game offers enough technical and mechanic differences to other CCGs to make it refreshing to play. Soon we will head to Skyrim, and I hope the campaign continues.
Skyrim on Switch
Motion controlled sword and shield action and Amiibo support. It feels like we have seen this somewhere before, this game on a Switch.
Dishonored 2: Death of the Outsider
Get ready for more Dishonored! Billie and Daud are off to kill the black-eyed Outsider. This sounds insane, because what happens if he dies? Does the whole world collapse, do the powers he gives out disappear?
Get ready for Quake Champions! The beta is open and you should try it out. Oh and BJ Blazkowicz is coming to the game, dual wielding like a boss. Shoot everyone dead.
Evil Within 2
The first new game is shown 24 minutes into the conference. Get ready to learn more of the backstory of the previous game, and go into darker, crazier places. I never played The Evil Within, but I feel that has to change right now.
Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus
Get ready to go to America and punch Nazis. Deal with KKK roaming the streets. No I am not talking about American right now, I am talking about Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. BJ is back and get ready for pregnant ladies stabbing Nazis, Nazis ordering strawberry milkshakes in America. The parallels are too real, really. Just watch the trailer before I get too political or something.
