Footy fans, Konami has announced that PES 2018 will stage an online multiplayer beta for PlayStation and Xbox One this week which will run through to 30 July.
Kick off for the beta starts at 10 am on Thursday 20 July and will offer players to indulge in quickmatch and 3 vs 3 online co-operative play. You’ll have the choice of playing with either Neymar Jr and the Canaries (Brazilians) or Paul Pogba and the Les Blues (French) national teams at the Neu Sonne Arena. You’ll also be able to test the day and night playing conditions along with fine or rainy weather effects. Thankfully PlayStation 4 users won’t need PlayStation Plus to participate but Xbox One owners will require an Xbox Live Gold subscription.
The global product manager for Pro Evolution Soccer, Adam Bhatti, stated that a demo will be made available closer to the time of the game’s release and that the beta is purely meant for testing the online code.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 launches 12 September 2017 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
