Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom collector’s edition revealed and it’s gorgeous

Bandai Namco recently revealed the collector’s edition for Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. For fans that purchased the collector’s edition of the first game, known as Wizards’s Edition, you’ll be delighted to know that there is a lot more on hand this time around. However this is not to say that the first collector’s edition was fruitless as it included a spellbook with more than 300 pages used by Oliver, the protagonist in Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. It also included a plushie of his companion, Drippy, as well as DLC.

This time, however, Bandai is offering two separate collector’s editions. The first being called Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom Prince’s Edition and the second Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom King’s Edition.

The Prince’s Edition includes:

  • A steelbook case
  • A season pass (grants players access to the two expansions coming to the game)
  • A Blu-ray disc with interviews and the making of the game

The King’s Edition which I believe will be a sort after item includes:

  • A steelbook case
  • A season pass
  • A Blu-ray disc with interviews and the making of the game
  • 148 page hardcover artbook
  • An 11″ vinyl record
  • And the crowning piece, a 20cm tall rotating music box featuring two scenes from the game whilst playing the games main theme song

Indeed, it will be interesting to learn the cost of these collector.s editions but for Ni No Kuni fans across the globe, the King’s Edition will be a must.
