Final Fantasy XV, a game designed with Nvidia Gameworks, for some reason never launched on the PC. If you have been waiting for the latest Final Fantasy game to finally make its way to the PC, then you just need to wait until next year. To make up for waiting so long, the highest-end version of the game.
Square Enix’s Hajime Tabata boasts that it is “the most beautiful and highest quality version of Final Fantasy 15 thanks to it being developed on our new version of the Luminous Engine.” Having Nvidia involved means that the game will use TurfEffects for realistic grass, Hairworks for realistic hair, Flow for liquid and smoke simulations, ambient occlusion and better shadows. If you have a meaty machine (and we mean it, the recommended GPU is a Nvidia 1080Ti), this is going to be the way to play the game. Now to replay the game, but taking pictures with Ansel, oh yeah.
Oh and there is a first-person view, so that you can get up close and personal with the 8K textures of Cindy’s “outfit”.
