Microsoft made a very interesting move when they allowed Xbox exclusives to be played on a Windows 10 PC as well. In theory you wouldn’t really need the console to play great games like Killer Instinct and Gears of War 4. Speaking of Killer Instinct it will be free to play on Windows 10 via Steam at the end of the year. Not only will it be free but Microsoft has said that there will be cross play functionality via Steam to Xbox One.
This is very exciting but begs the question about how will FPS games be handled? There is a clear advantage with a mouse and keyboard, but I guess time will tell how Microsoft want to handle that. Either way you look at it, it’s very good news and I am looking forward to seeing more Xbox One exclusives on Steam in the future.
