Not all games are for adults; kids need some games too. New Ben 10 and Adventure Time games were announced to be in development by Outright Games, Cartoon Network and U & I Entertainment.
The new Ben 10 game is styled after the recent reboot of the franchise and will allow players to utilise 10 of his alien forms. The game is set for release on 14 November which is just in time for Christmas. Little is known about Adventure Time at this stage, but an estimate release date puts it in around 2018.
Regarsing the partnering, the CEO of Outright Games seems rather excited about their partnering with U&I Entertainment.
“We’re very pleased to announce our distribution agreement with U&I Entertainment, LLC. ur aim is to bring high quality, family-friendly video games to families around the world, and U&I Entertainment is the perfect partner for us in the U.S. for the exciting 2017-2018 period.”
On the other side of the spectrum, U&I Entertainment are just as positive about Outright games, making this look like an ideal partnership.
“We are delighted to partner with Outright Games for the distribution of their titles in the coming year. Working on leading kid’s titles alongside Outright Games and adding global franchises like Ben 10 and Adventure Time to our roster is very exciting and we look forward to getting these games into consumers hands here in the U.S.”
I’m not expecting ground-breaking video games from either project, but adding more variety to children’s games is important. We can be quick to to get, but the industry’s sole focus can’t always be on hit gamers for those so-called ‘core gamers.’
