Assassin’s Creed Origins paid and free additional content detailed

The launch of Assassin’s Creed Origins is approaching fast with it launching on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on 27 October. As expected with all game releases these days, you can expect Assassin’s Creed Origins to receive additional content once the game has launched. Thankfully it won’t only be paid-for content, but will include free content too.

Season Pass owners will once again get the Lion’s share as they’ll get access to a new expansion named ‘The Curse of the Pharaohs’ as well as ‘The Hidden Ones’ expansion and Customisation Packs (Roman Centurion and Horus). The two expansion packs will see brand new open-worlds to explore and get the opportunity to dive into the fantasy of Egyptian Mythology. The free content, as you might guess, isn’t quite as juicy, but it’s also not half bad. Photo mode will be included after launch (something we all expect from most great games these days), but there will also be a challenge mode unlocked named ‘Trials of the Gods’ where you will fight huge Gods that challenges your combat skills. Nomad’s Bazaar will have a person named Reda asking you to solve a mystery on a daily basis for unique rewards, but there is more.

They don’t go in much more detail but confirm that we’ll see a Gladiator and Horde mode, as well as a Discovery Tour of Ancient Egypt. Not a bad selection of free content.

Married to a gamer and she kicks my ass at most shooters. If the game is enjoyable I'll play it, no matter the format.
