Not a PS Plus member? You’re getting free access to online multiplayer for a few days

With the launch of the PS4 Sony changed the service model of PlayStation Plus. Players would still receive their monthly games at no additional cost and discounts would still be offered to subscribers, but online multiplayer was not going to be a free service anymore. Some people pay their monthly subscription service to get access to those games, while others do it for a great time online with friends via multiplayer. From tomorrow everyone can join in on the online multiplayer fun for a limited time.

From 15-20 November PlayStation Plus online multiplayer will be open for all to enjoy, even if you don’t have a PlayStation Plus subscription. Yes, that means you can play online games from tomorrow through to Monday next week without having to pay one cent. Be aware that this is only the multiplayer service that becomes available. If you thought you’d be a genius and download some additional games or buy games at the PlayStation Plus discount levels you are out of luck. They have been clever enough to limit this service to only the online multiplayer.

Hey, in a world that asks you to pay for anything and everything you can think of we think 6 days of free online multiplayer is definitely better than nothing.

Married to a gamer and she kicks my ass at most shooters. If the game is enjoyable I'll play it, no matter the format.
