Happy Vrydag all of you wonderful and gorgeous people! Are you feeling the holiday spirit creeping up on you already? Are the Christmas trees in every shop reminding you that soon, you will have to buy deodorant for your dad and get a chance to sit on the couch and play games until the early hours in the morning? Are those Black Friday deals tempting you to buy yourself a little too many presents this year? Regardless, we’re coming up to the end of 2017 and what a year it has been.
The site has been churning faster than Santa’s Workshop and we have a whole bevvy of content for you to enjoy. For reviews, Garth made the switch to play some DOOM on the loo, Abigail played with cats and blocks in The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 respectively, Dawid played Magic The Gathering with cars in Need for Speed: Payback, Zain got his boogie on in Just Dance 2017, Ash cut out some paper in Snipperclips Plus and was a little frustrated with a fox in Super Lucky’s Tale, and Zain did some past blasting with Demon’s Crest. Garth showed us why Assassin’s Creed Origins got human touch just right, I waxed lyrically about the divide between art and business, Charlie showed us five franchises that need the reboot treatment and the Burning Question this week asked which game just didn’t click with you.
Now, for the moment you’ve all been waiting for. Who is going to storm the beaches and bomb some pillboxes? Who is going to lie in the trenches and punch some Nazis (again)? The person walking away with Call of Duty: WWII is none other than:
Standing Officer, Private George-Regan Barnes
Congratulations to George-Regan for winning this week’s wonderful prize! We’ll be in contact with you soon to get your prize to you, just watch out for mortars from people who didn’t win. They’re coming in hot.
Thanks to Megarom for sponsoring this week’s prize!
Keep your wallets safe next week and our fingers in your prayers because Black Friday is looming like a thieving shadow. Treat yourself a little and stock up on some incredible games in time for the holidays, if you’re lucky enough to have them. I’ll definitely be sitting a crater into my couch and making my body ashamed of eating too much trifle, which is delicious by the way. We’ll still be around for a while though and the dreaded GOTY discussions are still on our horizon. We might have a bunch of people suddenly and inexplicably fall ill during that time just to avoid having to make a choice. So keep up the wonderful conversations in the comment sections and on social media, we’re always happy to hear from you happy lot.
Free Games Vrydag returns next week! It will be a gran prize next week and no, that wasn’t a typo. It’s all part of the sport.
