Animal Crossing: Pocket Camper was revealed around a month ago via Nintendo Direct and it set everyone’s imagination alight on how we’ll be caring for our critter friends on our phones. The game has been out in Australia for a while now for testing and if you’re particularly resourceful, you can get it for yourself without being in the land down under. Initial impressions have been positive and it looks like it will be another Nintendo Mobile success for one of its major franchises. Also, don’t go on some shifty APK websites for it because the game is releasing worldwide on the 22nd of November.
It will be available for both Android and iOS and it will be free-to-play. It’ll be interesting to see what the public reaction will be to the game as Animal Crossing has never really catapulted itself into the mainstream. It is a hit among Nintendo gamers, but it was restricted to the 3DS. This worldwide exposure might spark some new curiosity in the title and I have a sneaking suspicion that something is brewing on the Switch.
