SA Gamercast 19 – The low points of 2017

When it was time to record this episode, a bunch of people were stuck at work. So we moved the day we record it and oh look, my net decided to die for 20 hours. So the team went on without me, playing tiny violins and mocking me on Whatsapp.

This episode is all about the bad things that happened in gaming in 2017. Yeah, we have had great games, but we have had some real stinkers too. 2017 seemed to be the year that loot boxes were cemented in AAA games, the failed charity efforts for the Forgey family in Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Mass Effect and Visceral closing its doors.

We tried to not get angry or too ranty because we have had our go at these topics before. So buckle up, it is time for a rollercoaster ride to the nadir of the year.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
